Who I Am

Hi, I’m Julie Kelly. I’m a Certified Paralegal with over 30 years in family law, a Certified Success Principles Coach, and a woman who survived an 18-year high-conflict custody battle of my own.

I’ve spent my entire career inside the legal system—while living through it, too. I know firsthand how confusing, overwhelming, and painful this journey can be. I also know there’s a better way.

Why I Do This

I created Settle for More because I believe no one should have to go through divorce or custody alone, unprepared, or in the dark. The system can feel cold, but you don’t have to walk through it without support.

My mission is to give you the tools I wish I had: practical legal knowledge, mindset strategies, emotional clarity, and most of all—hope.

What Makes Me Different

Most professionals in family law understand the system. I understand the system and the struggle.

Here’s what I bring to the table:

  • 30+ years as a family law litigation paralegal

  • Author of Pathway to Peace

  • Happy for No Reason Certified Coach

  • Certified Success Principles Trainer (Jack Canfield Method)

  • Real-life experience navigating a custody battle with strength and integrity

I combine legal strategy with personal transformation—so you’re not just surviving this process, you’re growing through it.

Who I Help

I work with individuals who are:

Image

Divorcing or separating and want a peaceful, strategic path

Image

Co-parenting in a high-conflict situation and need structure

Image

Representing themselves and need guidance on where to start

Image

Tired of chaos and ready to reclaim their power

If you’re committed to peace over drama, growth over blame, and clarity over confusion—you’re in the right place.

My Promise to You

I won’t overwhelm you with legal jargon or judge you for where you’re at. I’ll meet you exactly where you are—with compassion, experience, and real solutions.

Let’s move forward—one strong, peaceful step at a time.

Life has a way of surprising us. One moment feels normal, and the next, we’re standing in chaos, wondering how everything unraveled. Divorce, custody battles, and the emotional turmoil they bring aren’t just legal issues—they’re deeply personal, life-altering challenges that test every ounce of strength we have.

I know this because I’ve seen countless men and women in that exact space—overwhelmed, uncertain, and searching for a way forward. That’s why Pathway to Peace is more than a book—it’s a lifeline.

Julie Kelly doesn’t just write about family law—she’s lived it. With decades of experience as a litigation paralegal and her own personal journey through the legal system, she brings unmatched wisdom, resilience, and compassion. Her story is not just one of survival, but of transformation—and now, she’s on a mission to guide others through the storm.

This book isn’t filled with legal jargon or distant advice. It’s full of clarity, compassion, and strategy. Julie masterfully breaks down overwhelming systems and replaces fear with knowledge, chaos with direction, and pain with purpose. Whether you’re in the thick of it or beginning a new chapter, this book is your roadmap to peace.

What I love most is Julie’s heart. She writes like she’s sitting across from you, reminding you that you’re not alone, that you are stronger than you think, and that there is a way through this. She doesn’t just give you tools—she gives you hope. And hope is everything.

If you’re holding this book, take a breath. You’ve already taken the first step toward peace. And with Julie as your guide, you won’t just survive—you’ll thrive.

Julie, you have made a profound impact on my life—not only mine, but my daughter’s, and truly, our entire family. Your guidance, insight, and unwavering support through one of the most traumatic and emotionally draining battles of our lives helped shape me into the man I am today.

You have a remarkable gift for seeing through the smokescreen of pain and emotion, cutting through the chaos to reveal a path grounded in truth, strength, and long-term peace. You taught me that the greatest outcomes are reserved for those willing to endure the discomfort of the process, not just for themselves, but for the ones they love.

Through your coaching, I learned that emotional control is a powerful tool—that our actions should be thoughtful and intentional, not reactive. You helped me see that this battle was never just about one person; it was about protecting what matters most and rising above short-term emotions to secure long-term peace.

Without your guidance, I could not have made it through the emotional toll of the journey. But knowing I had you by my side meant I never had to worry. Even if things had turned out differently, I would never have blamed you—because your dedication, patience, and relentless pursuit of justice are unmatched. The only failure would have been in a system that overlooked your wisdom.

You are, and will always be, one of my greatest blessings. I am forever grateful for you and all that you have done for me and my family.

With love and deep respect,

A Forever Grateful Client
